Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Designer with strong experience in commercial and office building projects. The candidate will be responsible for leading electrical design activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality drawings and calculations as per standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead electrical design for commercial and office projects
* Prepare electrical layouts – lighting, power, emergency, earthing & ELV
* Perform load calculations and sizing of panels, cables, and breakers
* Prepare SLDs, layouts, BOQs, and technical submittals
* Coordinate with architects, HVAC, plumbing & fire teams
* Review shop drawings and resolve site/RFI issues
* Ensure compliance with NBC, IEC, IS & local codes
* Guide junior designers and check their drawings
* Attend client & coordination meetings when required
Required Skills:
* Strong experience in commercial & office MEP projects
* Expertise in AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of electrical codes & standards
* Good understanding of lighting design, power distribution & ELV systems
* Ability to lead a small team and manage deliverables
* Good communication & coordination skills
Preferred Attributes:
